New York Statue of Liberty π½
The Statue of Libertyβour hotel was super close to the ferry terminal. It only took a 3-minute walk to get to the dock for the Liberty Island ferry. π’π The line to board the ferry to Liberty Island was pretty long. π’ There's a small museum on the island that tells the story of how the Statue of Liberty came to be and how it was built. It's really interesting! π On the way back, the ferry passes by Ellis Island, which used to detain illegal immigrants. There's also a museum there. π’π If you're in a hurry or don't want to visit, you can stay on the ferry. There's no cell signal on the island, so when you get off, you might feel a bit disoriented. And when you go back to NY, you have to wait in line again. π€·ββοΈ There are two ferries on the way back: one goes to Downtown New York, and the other heads to New Jersey. π’π Don't get on the wrong one!π ββοΈ Don't ask me how I know... #NewYork ππ
