New York Store Exploration | Nami Nori π
Nestled in the West Village, this Japanese sushi shop is a hidden gem. π£ We each ordered a set for $32, which included 5 freshly made sushi rolls served one by one right in front of us. The set included: Tuna poke XO scallop Coconut shrimp Salmon Cucumber black sesame It felt just right to order one set per person to get full, or you could add some tempura. Their tempura is more like the eggplant or lotus root wraps from China, not the super crispy Japanese style. The last roll was cucumber sushi, which was super interesting. The cucumber was sweet and juicy, topped with sweet bean pasteβhaha, a perfect blend of Chinese and Japanese flavors with a unique taste. π Overall, for an average of $50 per person, it was incredibly delicious. It felt like a mini omakase experience, totally worth it. After the sushi, you must head to the corner for Venchi chocolate. π« Itβs super, super yummy. And right next door is Qahwah House for Turkish coffee. If youβre still hungry, grab a cup of coffee and order the honeycomb cheese cake. π° Taste: πππ Innovation: ππππ Value for money: ππππ #NewYorkFoodie #ColumbiaUniversity #NYU ππ
