New York Street Food: Adel's Famous Halal Food
Walking along the streets, you'll see many similar stalls, but only this one has a line, and it's usually a 30-minute wait at the very least. šø The platter comes with rice, flatbread, and veggies at the bottom. The lamb is actually pretty good, but the chicken is just okay. š¢ The portions are huge, and carrying these two plates feels like lifting weights. They're $9 each. I'd heard the chili is super spicy, so I specifically said no chili, but they still gave it to me. Even influencers can be inattentive sometimes. While waiting in line, a middle-aged man asked everyone why they were queuing. I told him it was because it's an internet-famous spot. He just shook his head and walked away. š For some reason, eating here reminded me of Chipotle. šÆ š #NYCTourism #NYCFoodie š½ļøš
