Perfect for forest-loving girls and boys, and even your furry friends! 🐾 🌲 Introduction to Harriman State Park The second-largest state park in New York, just about an hour's drive from the city! 🌲With plenty of trees, wild trails, and few people, it's the kind of "natural oxygen bar" where you feel the urge to take a deep breath as soon as you enter. There are numerous hiking trails and lakes for boating (bring your own), making it ideal for a spontaneous weekend getaway. 🌲 🚗 Our Trip from Elk Pen Parking Lot We started our journey from the Elk Pen Parking Lot. We slowly ascended along the stream, surrounded by lush forests, small stone bridges, moss, and dappled sunlight.
