New York Summer Wine Escape Plan: Must-Visit Wineries (1)🍷
When you think of wine, your first thought is probably California, right? But did you know that New York State has its own wine scene? 🍷 Especially in Long Island and the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, there are a number of unique and lesser-known wineries. Here are my top 5 favorite wineries/breweries around New York, each with its own unique charm. They're listed in order of proximity: Rosehill Vineyards & Inn|About a 2-hour drive 🌳 🍷 My go-to spot whenever I visit Long Island for wine tasting! The white cottage surrounded by a yard full of green trees looks like it's straight out of a painting. The tasting flight is $30, and each wine is so well-crafted, perfect for savoring and taking photos. Bashakill Vineyards & Winery|About a 2.5-hour drive 🪻 🍷A hidden paradise next to a nature reserve. You have to try their Lavender Wine—it actually tastes like lavender! There's often live music in the summer, and sitting back to enjoy the tunes and wine is super relaxing. #NewYork 🌃🌟
