New York Sunset|Chasing Two Viewpoints: The Edge vs Summit

Which one is more breathtaking? I visited both of New York’s most popular observation decks back-to-back! 🌆 The Edge Summit One Vanderbilt The weather during my stay in New York has been absolutely perfect, and the sunsets have been incredibly beautiful every single day! ✨ My Personal Experience: 📍 The Edge This open-air platform offers an incredibly wide and expansive view. Not only can you see the stunning city skyline, but you also get a glimpse of the distant ocean. During sunset, the horizon meets the sea, planes glide by in the distance, and boats move slowly across the water. It feels so peaceful and vast—truly breathtaking! Just a heads-up: during autumn evenings, it can get pretty windy and chilly outside, so dress warmly! 🧥🍂 📍 Summit One Vanderbilt Compared to The Edge, Summit feels more like an immersive art and light experience. There are three levels at the top, surrounded by reflective mirrors—it really feels like you’ve stepped into Inception! 🪞🌇 The music and lighting shift along with the sunset, creating a magical atmosphere. The way the sunset and light reflect through the glass is absolutely dreamy. One small note: when trying to capture the sunset through the windows, the interior glass reflections can sometimes affect your photos. 📸 Final Thoughts: The Edge offers better views and is perfect for those who love wide-open landscapes and an outdoor vibe. Summit leans more toward artistic installation—it’s visually striking and ideal for anyone seeking a fresh, immersive experience. Personally, I’m leaning a bit more toward The Edge! ❤️ 🎫 Ticket Prices for Reference: The Edge | Day Pass $34 | Sunset Ticket $56 Summit One Vanderbilt | Day Pass $44 | Sunset Ticket $56 Which one would you choose? Let me know in the comments! 👇😊 #Sunset #NewYork #ManhattanMidtown #BestSunsets
