New York | Super Authentic Portuguese Restaurant in the West Village
Ah, this week's joy was completely wrapped up by this super authentic Portuguese tavern in the West Village! I blindly ordered from the menu, but how could every dish be so delicious! It was literally so good I wanted to lick the plate clean! π₯ Porco Preto: Iberico pork chops! With just the right amount of fat, each piece is super flavorful and juicy! The braised pork chops are cooked in Alvarinho wine, and the accompanying plate of roasted bread is the highlight of the day! The crust is crispy, and the inside is chewy, perfect for dipping in the sauce! Because it was too delicious, we added two more portions of bread to take home π π₯ Prego no Pao: The steak sandwich is generously filled! The steak is well-seasoned and paired with wine-soaked onions for a full flavor ~ The truffle fries that come with it are also excellent! It's so fragrant that before I knew it, the plate was clean π π₯ Cabrito no Forno: Baby lamb chops with incredibly tender meat! The seasoning of white wine, rosemary, and garlic is also superb! #LocalFoodFinds #NewYork #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExplorer #ManhattanNYCFood #NewYorkEats #NewYorkFun
