New York Surroundings|Art Omi
Art Omi is a free, open-air art center/installation park. 🎨✨ The 180-acre grounds are spacious, with art installations scattered throughout—expect to spend around 2.5 to 3 hours to see everything. Some of the artworks are interactive, like the "three-headed, six-armed" basketball hoop, with balls provided for you to play. 🏀 There’s also a Tetris-like mini-maze… and one installation features rows upon rows of water faucets?? 🤔💧 Many pieces invite interaction, and some look even more fascinating under sunlight, with layered shadows and textures that make them perfect for photos or quiet appreciation. 🌞📸 Visiting on a cool day is especially pleasant—strolling around, soaking in the serene atmosphere. 🌿 The park has scattered benches where you can relax, daydream, and soak up some "photosynthesis." ☘️💆♂️ That said, it’s best visited as a side trip if you’re exploring nearby areas like Hudson, rather than a dedicated destination. Storm King is more impressive, though it’s also much larger and requires more time to explore. 🚗🌳 📍 Address: 1405 Co Rte 22, Ghent, NY 12075 🚗 Parking: Free #healingvibes #365daysofphotography #aestheticinspo #panasonicccd #romanticlife #photographydaily #lifecaptured #lifeaesthetics #nycgetaway
