New York Taiwanese Cuisine 886 ๐
Finally, I made it to this Taiwanese restaurant I've been wanting to try for so long. ๐ How should I put it? Overall, it was delicious, but I felt a bit greasy by the end of the meal. ๐ My bestie and I ordered crispy tofu with old skin and tender meat, plum powder sweet potato fries, braised pork rice, Taichung fried noodles, and Hakka stir-fry. ๐Here are my ratings: 8.5/10 for the crispy tofu, 10 for the sweet potato fries, 5 for the braised pork rice, 7 for the Taichung fried noodles, and 5 for the Hakka stir-fry. The service was generally good, but the downside was that by the end, I felt like there was too much peanut sauce in the noodles and the braised pork rice. ๐ฅฒ ๐ธ If I go again, I'd definitely order the sweet potato fries and tofu. Before the pandemic, they had pork sausage wrapped in rice cake, but it's no longer on the menu. #NewYork ๐๐
