New York Thai Bistro🔥 Massaman Curry Short Ribs
On a weekend trip to Midtown to get the persimmon milk ice I'd been craving for ages, I stumbled upon this hidden Southeast Asian gem next to a bubble tea shop. It looks unassuming, but it's both affordable and delicious. The Massaman curry short ribs were an instant hit! The Pho was also amazing—I can't wait to come back for more.👏 🔥 Short Ribs Massaman: The slow-cooked short ribs are incredibly fragrant, super tender and flavorful. The curry is creamy, and it comes with a sweet sweet potato puree that pairs perfectly with rice. 💯 🔥 Lobster Tail Pad Thai: This lobster tail Pad Thai is truly luxurious. The lobster is huge, making this a gourmet version of the classic dish that everyone loves! 🔥 Pho Bo: Surprisingly, the Pho here is fantastic! The broth is made from beef bones simmered for 12 hours. The beef in the soup is very fragrant, and the large bowl is perfect for a cold winter day. 🔥 Crab Fried Rice: Simple but delicious, the crab fried rice is well-seasoned and aromatic. 🔥 Spare Rib on Sugarcane: I've never had meat skewered on sugarcane before. The sweet sugarcane juice helps cut through the richness of the meat. 📍 OBAO 📍 647 9th Ave, New York, NY 10036 #ThisBowlIsFilledWithAutumn #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodie
