Khao Pad Muk Dum Squid Ink Fried Rice 🌴This one is truly spicy! The heat isn't evenly distributed, so you get a bite that’s super spicy and then another that’s not spicy at all. It features small squid, and there’s a decent amount of it. The dish is topped with fish roe, which adds a nice, crunchy texture. But honestly, I’d say it’s optional unless you’re really into spicy rice dishes. 🌶️ Crying Tiger 🌴Aesthetics: 10/10, Steak: 10/10—not chewy and not too rare, just delicious. The only downside is that it was a bit cool when it arrived. It comes with red onions on one side and crispy garlic slices on the other, all atop a bed of rice. For some reason, there was a hint of herbal flavor in the rice, which I didn’t quite get. Overall, I’d say it looks better than it tastes. 🍖 For drinks, we ordered the Siam Smile and Bangkok Sun-kissed. The cocktails here are really good! They’re visually stunning and have a nice sweet-and-sour balance. 🍸 🌴 The overall atmosphere is pretty noisy. You have to shout to be heard, and you can definitely overhear the conversations at the next table. I might not go back just for the food, but I’d definitely return for the cocktails! 🥂 #NYCFood #NewYork #ThaiCuisine #NYCThai 🌟
