New York Thai Food Disaster: Up Thai Review! (2)🌶️

Alright, I’m about to unleash my complaints! 🤯 First off, the lady at the entrance wasn’t particularly friendly, but I guess that’s understandable if she’s busy. But the real issue was with a thin, middle-aged male waiter! 😡 When our group of four was ordering, sometimes two people would say a dish name at the same time, or we’d briefly discuss for a few seconds. We already mentioned we’re sharing everything, but this waiter, with an impatient look, shouted “one at a time” and almost stuck his palm in our faces… 🙅‍♂️ 💔 Later, when he was changing our plates, there was still some food left in our bowls. This guy kept blocking our plates with his hand, signaling us not to touch them, all while wearing a really sour expression. 😒 We thought maybe he was just having a bad day, but then we saw him practically bowing and smiling at the two white ladies next to us, nodding so much his wrinkles were all over his face. 💔 All four of us were really shocked and speechless. How could he be so obsequious? 😅 And he’s Asian himself, which makes it even weirder. To make things worse, we were well within the dining time limit, but he kept standing beside us with a stern look, watching us. He even placed the check next to us without even saying “take your time.” 😅 💔 I’m definitely going to try more Thai restaurants in the future, but I’ll never be back at Up Thai! 🚫 #NewYorkThaiFood #NewYorkDelights 🌟
