Here’s a quick guide to some Vietnamese spots in New York! 🌆 Nam Son The soup is a bit greasy and the meat flavor is quite strong. But hey, it’s cheap and filling! 💰 Hello Saigon Can’t quite remember the taste anymore, but from what I recall, it’s pretty standard and not too pricey. 👍 Hanoi House Forgot the exact flavor, but I remember it being a bit on the pricier side. 🤔 Cyclo (in LIC) The broth is super flavorful with a strong spice aroma, but it’s not sweet, which is a plus! 🌿 Pho Vital (in LIC Food Hall) Newly opened in the food hall. The meat is a bit scarce, but the broth is not sweet and totally drinkable. 🍜 🚫 Blacklist La Dong This place is quite famous, but honestly, the soup tastes really weird and hard to describe—just not good. The noodles’ texture is off, though the meat quality is decent. 🤔 High Lua The soup is way too sweet to enjoy, and the beef brisket has a bit of a gamey taste. 🍲 Mama Pho (in Williamsburg) The broth is super sweet. Not my cup of tea! 🍵 Chef Papa (in LIC) The soup is extremely sweet. Not a fan. 😔 Chinatown There are a few more places around Chinatown I want to try.
