New York Weekend at Hi-Collar 🌟

🌟 SATOIMO AGENI (Pan-Seared Taro) The taro is perfectly pan-seared, crispy on the outside without any burnt taste. As a big fan of taro, I loved this appetizer! The sauce drizzled on top is savory and aromatic, complemented by some green vegetables and fish tofu. 🍖 🌟 TAMAGO YAKI (Omelette) The omelette is beautifully made, with thin layers of egg delicately rolled together, incredibly tender. Their version is slightly salty but not overpowering, making it a delightful dish. 🍳 🌟 TORI KARAAGE (Japanese Fried Chicken) Their Japanese fried chicken feels more generous than other places', and it comes with a side salad. The lemon is even cut into cute rabbit shapes! At first, I thought the chicken was overcooked, but biting into it revealed a burst of juicy flavor. The chicken is perfectly fried, locking in all the moisture with a golden-brown crust. One plate just isn't enough! Plus, instead of mayo, they serve a homemade sauce that's tangy yet rich in cream flavor. 🍗 Their dinner truly amazed me—it's delicious and quite affordable. For two people, we had three appetizers, two main dishes, and with a tip, it came to $38 per person. I loved every dish! The only downside is that they don't offer dessert or bubble tea for dinner—only cocktails are available. 🥲 🔥 Hi-Collar 📍 231 E 9th St, New York, NY 10003 Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. #WhereToGoOnWeekends 🌆🌟
