New York Weekend Getaway | Picnic at Croton Gorge Park 🌿

If you want to escape the city for a weekend and take a short trip, I recommend Croton Gorge Park! 🎢🌟 It's just a 1-hour drive from New York, and the parking fee is $10 per car, but when we went, they didn't even charge for the entrance. 🚗 The scenery is beautiful! You can see a small waterfall cascading down from the dam, and there's a large lawn at the base of the dam where you can have a picnic, barbecue, or just sit and chill, enjoying the feeling of escaping the city and immersing yourself in nature. 🌳 🎢🌟 There's a short trail that leads to the top of the dam, which you can complete in about half an hour—it's very easy. From the top, you can see the reservoir, and the whole environment is very refreshing. Plus, it's pet-friendly! You can bring your dog for a walk. 🐶 🎢🌟 Remember to bring bug spray, as there are quite a few mosquitoes due to the proximity to the water source. #NewYork 🌇
