New York Yakiniku Experience: Yakiniku Gen πŸ–

πŸ“ Yakiniku Gen 250 E 52nd St, New York, NY 10022 In New York, it’s actually not very common to see a lot of πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Japanese people, but at this Japanese BBQ restaurant, almost all the customers are Japanese. The tables around us were all speaking Japanese. It feels like this place is a popular spot for Japanese office workers to gather and enjoy a meal and drinks after work. The yakiniku here must be pretty authentic! 🌟 We walked in at 7:30 PM on a Friday night, and we were lucky to find one or two tables still available. The exterior of the restaurant is quite unassuming, but inside, it has a traditional Japanese atmosphere with wooden partitions and small private booths. The food and service were both great, with an average cost of $50-$100 per person. 🍽️ Nikumori – Shio 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The signature salt-seasoned beef platter. The meat quality is excellentβ€”tender, juicy, and full of flavor! πŸ– NakaOchi Kalbi – Shio 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The signature center-cut short rib (the meat between the bones of the short ribs). It’s incredibly aromatic after grilling, with a chewy yet tender texture. Highly recommended! πŸ– Tontoro Wasabi 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Japanese pork jowl with wasabi. The crispy texture is really nice! πŸ– #NewYorkYakiniku #NYCExperience 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
