New Yorkers Really Do Love a Crowd | Christmas Tree Lighting

The Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony attracts an unbelievable crowd — seriously, the event begins at 7 PM, but by 4 PM the surrounding streets are already packed solid. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶 It’s no less crowded than holiday hotspots back home — proof, perhaps, of humanity’s mysterious love for collective rituals. Still, even though all I could see were people everywhere… I couldn’t help but feel the holiday spirit in the air. 😅✨ The excitement, the collective anticipation, the glittering decorations — it all marks the true start of the Holiday Season in NYC. 🎄❤️ So if you plan to go next year, come early (really early!), wear layers, and embrace the cheerful chaos. Because sometimes, being part of the crowd is exactly what makes New York’s holidays so magical. #NYC #RockefellerCenter #ChristmasLights #HolidaySeasonNYC #NYCChristmas #NYCEvents #FestiveNYC #NYCVibes #ChristmasInNYC
