Newly Opened Xi’an Snacks in Orlando: SLAP! The Roujiamo is Amazing!

It’s been a while since I posted a food (restaurant review)—but Orlando’s got new spots popping up! Tried SLAP, a Xi’an-style eatery, on their first soft opening day. It’s right near Universal Studios 🎢 🌟 Dishes: Roujiamo (Chinese Hamburger): Huge and filling! Crispy bun, savory meat mixed with green peppers. The braised pork version is only $8 🔪—must order! Fried Skewers: Got fried Wangzhongwang sausage, chicken chop, beef steak, tofu skin wrapped in cilantro, and tofu skin wrapped in enoki mushrooms. All delicious! Served with two dips: sweet chili sauce and dry BBQ seasoning 🌶️. Spicy (Red Oil) Cold Noodles: Perfectly thin, mixed with cilantro and cucumber shreds. The red oil and garlic water are fragrant—add extra chili oil from the table if you want more heat (it’s tasty too!). Braised Beef Rib Noodles: It’s youpo mian (oil-splashed noodles) topped with a massive beef rib—super generous portion! Cold Dishes: Tried mixed beef and shredded potatoes—so refreshing, great for starting a meal. 🌟 Service:Staff were lovely! Our server was a cute Korean guy 😊. 🌟 Verdict:Located on International Drive, right by Universal (address below)! Decor has Xi’an vibes, and it fills the gap for Xi’an snacks and fried skewers in Orlando. I used to make roujiamo at home—now I can just come here! lovers, this one’s for you too.
