NHK Museum of Broadcasting(1)
Tokyo's Hidden Gem: A Free Museum Off the Beaten Path 🌟 🏰This is the world's first museum dedicated to broadcasting. The NHK Broadcasting Museum is located on Atago Hill, the birthplace of NHK. 🏰 🌟This "hill," which now looks more like a small slope, is just a short walk north from Tokyo Tower. It's a four-story building, almost deserted, showcasing around 30,000 items from Japan's broadcasting history. 🏰 These include the microphone used when Japan first began broadcasting, the program schedule poster from the first day of broadcasting, and the Gyokuon-hōsō[9]—all precious historical materials. What intrigued me the most were some behind-the-scenes elements. 🏰 There's a section where beans are used to simulate the sound of waves, and a fan generates the sound of the wind. 🌟Additionally, there are video archives of every year's Red and White Song Contest. #Tokyo 🌇
