Nikko Edo Village: Now I Have My Own Fox Mask with My Signature! π¦β¨
#Recorder of Romantic Life π β¨ Summer festivals are just around the corner, and today I hand-painted my own Japanese mask and even signed my name on it! π¨ ππΈ This is my second visit to Nikko Edo Village, and it was even more fun than the last time! β¨ I spent the whole day here, from the opening ceremony at 9 a.m. to the closing ceremony at 5 p.m.! π Today I watched the ninja theater show, the oiran (courtesan) parade, the Wakamatsu-ya oiran performance, the Edo court trial, and the ninja training. ππΈ I also experienced weaving and making a fox mask (I missed the water acrobatics, though). β¨I highly recommend the ninja theater! The live ninja fighting performance was so impressive that it made me believe ninjutsu (ninja skills) really exists! The actors can jump from rooftops and walk without making a sound. π₯· ππΈ Both adults and kids can dress up as Edo-period characters! As you walk around the village, the villagers will greet you. β¨ If you dress up as a princess, they'll even bow to you. π ππΈ Kids who dress up as ninjas can participate in ninja training and various ninja activitiesβit's super satisfying! π #DayTrip π#CulturalSiteShare πΏ
