Noboribetsu, Hokkaido πΈπΊπΏπ
The entire Noboribetsu walking trail is exceptionally well-designed, taking over two hours to complete the journey. Although it's tiring, the experience is also incredibly healing. Along the way, you'll encounter the "Houou-no-Tsuka" , πΈπΊπΏπ which is not related to the chef in the story of "Pao Ding Jie Niu". In Japanese, "Houou" refers to a kitchen knife, and this site is a repository for the knives of many famous chefs, πΈπΊπΏπ also serving as a place to honor the fish, birds, and vegetables we consume. Further along, you'll find the "Dai-Moku-Ishi" β a natural rock inscribed with the word "Dai" by Nichiro Shonin in 1871. πΈπΊπΏπ When water is poured over the rock, the characters "Namu Myoho Renge Kyo" , or "Homage to the Lotus Sutra," emerge on its surface, as we see today. πΈπΊπΏπ #Noboribetsu,#Hokkaido
