North York, Canada | Finally Found Some Delicious Food Again! 😋🍽️
🍴Dishes: Appetizers: They don’t have the usual pickled bean sprouts, pickled cucumbers, or fish cakes. Instead, they serve salted popcorn 🤔. It didn’t really add much and didn’t help with opening the appetite. Soy Sauce Marinated Shrimp 🦐: Highly recommended!! The shrimp are plump and juicy, with plenty of yellow in the heads. The marinade is perfectly balanced with sweet and salty flavors, enhancing the natural taste of the shrimp! First-timers might find it a bit salty, but it pairs wonderfully with rice. Spicy Marinated Crab 🦀: The sweet and spicy marinated crab. When I asked the server, they said there would be ten pieces, so I expected a lot, but it turned out to be just two or three crabs’ worth. The flavor is great, with a sweet pickled taste. If you’re sensitive to spice, be cautious, as the sauce can make it quite spicy🔥. Personally, I preferred the marinated shrimp. Cream Pasta with Bone-in Beef Rib 🍝: A creative pasta dish featuring cheese, cream, bacon, mushrooms, mentaiko, and beef rib. The cheese flavor is quite strong, which might be a bit rich if you eat too much. The beef rib was handled well – it’s a solid, standard dish. Nagasaki Seafood Soup 🍜: I thought it was just a plain seafood soup, but it’s actually a seafood udon soup. The flavor is very fresh, with a variety of seafood (including abalone!), and the udon is perfectly cooked. The pepper adds a slight spiciness, enhancing the overall taste! Pancake Duo: Two types of pancakes – seafood & kimchi, each half a pancake. The seafood pancake is chewy, but the pancake itself was a bit average, which was a bit disappointing. #Toronto #TorontoLife #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodie #TorontoFun ### Name: 88 Salon Address: 6174 Yonge St Unit 2, North York Type: Restaurant ###
