Noto in Edinburgh | Affordable Michelin Dining on Prince Street 🍴
Michelin-starred Noto in Edinburgh, located right on Prince Street 💰 Average spend: £40-60 💷 Compared to other fine dining options in Edinburgh that can easily cost £100-200 💷 Noto is a very affordable choice And there’s no dress code, plus it’s relatively easy to get a reservation Most importantly, the fusion of European and Japanese cuisine is very palatable 🦀️ North Sea Crab The best dish of the night, a must-try for those not allergic to seafood! Only one photo, because it was too good to stop and take more The de-shelled crab meat mixed with cream sauce served in the crab shell, dipping toast in this sauce is divine 🍣 Tuna Temaki A very Japanese dish, with a fresh taste Recommended by the waiter, probably because we are Asian girls The tuna is tender and bouncy, paired with yuzu pepper for a refreshing twist 🥩 Beef Tartare Another popular dish The raw beef blended with fruit flavors is smooth and tangy-sweet The accompanying potato chip is crispy, reminiscent of the garnishes used in high-end restaurants 🐟 Confit Halibut & Mussels The main course was standard, similar to the butter scallops I had at Eleanore, but the portion was generous and the fish was substantial 🍮 For dessert, there were only two options, so my friend and I ordered the chocolate mousse and prune cake ❌ Chocolate Mousse, the mousse itself was sweet, and the ice cream made it even sweeter ⭕️ Prune Cake, I had a taste of my friend’s, it was a bit sweet and sour, but also became cloying towards the end 🍺 We also ordered two types of beer and cider Leith Beer was very drinkable, refreshing without being bitter 🌟 Overall, the starters/main dishes were good, desserts are not highly recommended, and the drinks are optional. You can keep it to £40 💷 per person without dessert and drinks 🌟 Also, when choosing a table, individual tables have better lighting #EdinburghMichelin #EdinburghFood #EdinburghFoodGuide #EdinburghRestaurants #PrinceStreetFood #PrinceStreet #EdinburghWesternCuisine #EdinburghUniversity #EdinburghTravel
