Nura in New York ๐
A hidden gem in Brooklyn, Nura is an Indian fusion restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside. It resembles a warehouse, but once you step inside, the decor is stunning. ๐ฟ As you enter, youโre greeted by a circular bar. To the left is a cozy seating area filled with plants. Once seated, you can see the massive open kitchen, adding to the lively atmosphere. ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐Creole Style Kerola Style Curry: This dish is like an Indian version of shakshuka. Instead of a sweet and tangy tomato base, it features a spicy curry, and bell peppers are swapped for celery. The bread that comes with it is a bit too thick; a thinner sourdough would make it easier to enjoy. ๐ถ๏ธ b.e.c burger: I once had a b.e.c burger with a twistโit featured a steamed egg! The combination of sweet bacon and the rich, buttery, creamy egg made it a bit heavy, but it was definitely worth trying! ๐ ๐ I also loved their freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Itโs tangy and sweet, perfect for a refreshing pick-me-up. The only downside is that it comes in a small glassโI wish they could offer more juice for the same price! ๐ #NYC #IndianFusion #BrooklynEats ๐
