NY | This Place Made Me Forget About Central Park 🌸🏛️✨
While visiting the Home exhibition at Cooper Hewitt, I was completely mesmerized by the rows of cherry blossoms outside the windows—petals swirling in the breeze like pink snow! ❄️🌸 Even indoors, you could feel the spring air, and the afternoon sunlight poured in like liquid gold, casting the blossoms in this dreamy glow. Seeing them framed by the windows felt totally different from standing beneath the trees—almost like living inside a painting. 🎨💖 But Cooper Hewitt’s magic isn’t just the sakura views—the Gilded Age mansion itself is stunning, with its grand staircases and ornate details. The exhibition was fantastic too! My first stop was the dining room installation (P2-3)—the warm, homey palette and that gorgeous blue rug made me want to move in immediately. 🏠💙 Downstairs, I stumbled upon a Monopoly-themed nook with neon furniture inspired by brain scans (??)—weirdly cool and my favorite piece in the whole show! I even dragged my professor over to see it. 😂🔮 Upstairs, the "blood room" (some sci-fi gene lab vibe?) was oddly captivating. 🧪🩸 FYI: The cherry blossoms might be gone now (I went last Monday), but this place is still a must-visit—especially since it’s right by Central Park! 10/10 recommend. 🙌 #NYC #CooperHewitt #ArtAndNature #SakuraSeason
