🥩 NY A5 Wagyu Hot Pot, an Extravagant Feast

I wasn’t really interested in Wagyu before, but this time my friend visiting from California insisted on going to Mikiya, and I regret not coming here earlier!!! I’m saying, this Wagyu is just too tender! 🇯🇵 Japanese-style Wagyu hot pot buffet, we chose the Diamond package, where you can eat all the ingredients, especially the A5 Wagyu ribeye, chuck, and brisket that are limited in other packages, it’s super satisfying, and the taste of various appetizers is quite good😋 👉🏻 For the broth, I chose Sukiyaki broth + special broth. I usually love Sukiyaki hot pot, the savory flavor makes the meat delicious even without any dipping sauce. The special broth is very light and can be used to cook seafood and vegetables to better taste the ingredients themselves. There are also spicy miso and tomato broth options, and I plan to try the spicy miso next time hahaha 🥩 Among the meats, I prefer the ribeye and brisket, which have completely different textures and flavors. The A5 Wagyu ribeye is rich in fat with beautiful marbling. It only needs to be cooked for about 5 seconds, just until it changes color, and can be eaten with my special chili soy sauce and yuzu vinegar dip, which is very delicious. The meat is very delicate, and it feels like eating meat jelly. The brisket has thicker fibers, and each piece is large. It also goes well with sesame paste~ 🍤 I ordered one of each appetizer to try. The bone marrow, tempura shrimp, and beef tartare were to my liking. The bone marrow is oily and fragrant without any unpleasant smell. Scoop a spoonful and place it on toasted bread and put it all in your mouth, the flavor and texture are super rich. Everyone should try it! The beef tartare is very refreshing, also paired with the same toasted bread, and it’s very delicious. 🏠 Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House 💰 98/person #NewYork #NYCLife #NewYorkUniversity #NewYorkFood #NewYorkShopping #plog #NYU #NewYorkStudyAbroad #ColumbiaUniversity #NewYorkWeekend #NewYorkFoodFun #NewYorkExploration #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkDailyLife #Jersey #JerseyCity #Manhattan #ManhattanExploration #WagyuHotPot #LIC #USA #Wagyu #HotPot #NewYorkCheckIn #JapaneseCuisine
