Although we encourage you to attend all of the **Pride events** throughout the city — discussions, tours, drag brunches, and beyond — the March is the one gathering you definitely cannot miss. Now in its 55th year, the tradition is the ultimate symbol of LGBTQIA+ resilience, unity, and activism. Here’s what you need to know. When is the Pride March in NYC? ------------------------------- The Pride March in NYC takes place on Sunday, June 29th at 11am. Pride March: NYC’s 2025 theme ----------------------------- This year’s theme, “Rise Up: Pride in Protest” is a tribute to the first Pride March in 1970. The initial event commemorated the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in 1969. What is the Pride March route in NYC? ------------------------------------- One of the world’s largest demonstrations, the March will start at 26th St & 5th Ave and disperse at 15th St & 7th Ave .
