NYC’s Best Scrambled Eggs Worth Braving an Hour-Long Wait in the Cold!

This weekend after yoga, a friend and I lined up for this popular French brunch spot in the West Village. Before eating: What kind of place still has such a long line after 1 PM?! After eating: Even though we waited almost an hour in the cold—it was absolutely worth it! Hands down the best scrambled eggs in NYC. I’m already planning my next visit! 😍 🔥 LES OEUFS VAPEURS This is their signature steamed scrambled egg dish—whoever thought of using a coffee steamer to make scrambled eggs is a genius! It’s quick, efficient, and so delicious. They pour pre-mixed egg custard into the steamer, heat it briefly, and stir it into perfect, silky eggs. We tried the JAMBON CRU version, topped with cured ham and served with crispy toasted bread. So good and surprisingly wholesome! 🍳🥖 🔥 PAIN PERDU My friend ordered the thick-cut brioche French toast, drizzled with the same heavenly egg custard and topped with fresh berries and cream. Absolutely delightful! 🍓🍞 🔥 Chocolate Mousse Cake The portion was huge and got a bit rich toward the end, but the first few bites were pure chocolate bliss—rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying. 🍫✨ 📍 Buvette 📍 42 Grove St, New York, NY 10014 #NYCEats #NYCFoodGuide #WestVillageEats #NYCBrunch #FrenchBrunchNYC #BestBrunchNYC #ManhattanEats #NYCFoodie #MustTryNYC #FoodWorthTheWait 🥐🍳❤️
