NYC’s Hidden 1930s Shanghai-Style Bar — Even Daniel Wu Visited! 🔳

Tucked away in a Chinatown basement, Ye's Apothecary transports you straight to vintage Shanghai — red lanterns, dark wood, velvet seating, moody lighting. It’s cinematic, nostalgic, and famously photogenic. Even Daniel Wu has been here — need another reason to go? 📸 Arguably the most Instagrammable bar in town — every corner oozes atmosphere. 🍸 Must-Try Drinks: ✨ Canton Collin’s – Oolong tea + orange — crisp and refreshing. ✨ Bird’s Nest – Served with a pear lollipop — sweet, playful, and pretty. 🥂 Bar Snacks (Asian-Fusion Hits): 🔥 Spicy Popcorn Chicken – Salty, crispy, with sweet pineapple bits. 🔥 Shrimp Toast – Plump, bouncy shrimp filling. 🔥 Duck Pancake Rolls – Crispy wrapper, juicy duck — perfect with drinks. ⚠️ Dan Dan Noodles – Skip these, nothing special. 💥 Dessert Star: Fried tangyuan with black sesame lava + vanilla ice cream — warm, chewy, cold, creamy. A must-order! One of my favorite NYC bars lately — vibes, drinks, and bites all on point. Great for dates, groups, or solo nights with a camera. 📍 Ye's Apothecary (closed Mondays) 119 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002 #YesApothecary #NYCBars #ShanghaiVibes #ChinatownNYC #MoodyNights #DanielWuSpot #NYCNightlife #CocktailBar #NYCEats #HiddenGem #DateNight #NYCFoodie
