NYC|Crown Shy's Dessert Is Worth the Trip Alone 🍮✨
I first visited this Michelin-starred spot (in the same building as Over Story and SAGA) earlier this year and couldn’t stop dreaming about their desserts 🤤. Back for Restaurant Week—the menu changed slightly, but every dish held up! 🥩 Beef Carpaccio – Served with crispy, buttery flatbread. The beef was tender and beautifully marbled, paired with a creamy, well-balanced sauce. 🦪 Razor Clams – Super fresh and springy, dressed in a light yet rich sauce that let the seafood shine. (This year it’s scallops—looks just as good!) 🐟 Branzino – Crispy skin, tender flesh, and a delicious savory sauce. 🍊 Grilled Citrus-Marinated Chicken – Chicken can be boring, but the bright citrus glaze made it memorable. 🌋 Sticky Toffee Pudding for Two – The star I’d been craving for months! Warm, rich pudding with cool green apple sorbet and toasted pecans. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing all at once—worth revisiting for this alone 🤩. 🍞 Pillowy Bread – Had to order separately, but so worth it—soft, chewy, and buttery. The space is dim, romantic, and perfect for a date. Service is relaxed (a bit slow), so take your time and enjoy the vibe. Crown Shy changed my mind about New American fine dining—no longer just “fancy burgers or pizza.” Added to my special-occasion list for sure! ✨ #NYC #Michelin #CrownShy #NYCRestaurantWeek #FineDining #NYCEats #DessertLovers #FoodieFinds #NYCRestaurants
