NYC|Date & Dragon Beard Ice Cream 🍨 A Must-Try Mediterranean Spot!
Dagon on the Upper West Side is a true gem on my NYC favorites list! 🥦 Flash Fried Cauliflower Roasted until tender, seasoned with bell peppers, olive oil, and lemon—served with creamy garlic aioli. So good I tried recreating it at home… but their spice blend is the real secret! 🐟 Whole Roasted Black Bass Perfectly cooked fish with a standout broth—zucchini, eggplant, and broccoli in a rich akala wine and white wine sauce. So flavorful, I finished every drop! 🍖 Crispy Roasted Lamb A massive lamb shank with crispy skin and tender, juicy meat, served with chewy rice. Truly a meat lover’s feast! 🍮 Silan A dreamy dessert: melt-in-your-mouth sugar strands, crispy caramel rice, pistachios, almonds, tahini mousse, and vanilla ice cream. Rich, chewy, and nostalgic—like grown-up dragon beard candy! 🍬 Mediterranean flavors suit the Asian palate perfectly 😻. A regular at the next table even praised our order—we basically picked all the signatures! We over-ordered for two (enough for 3–4 people), but every dish was worth it. Can’t wait to return with a bigger appetite! 📍 Dagon #NYC #NYCFood #MediterraneanFood #NYCEats #UWS #FoodieFavorites #MustTryNYC #DessertHeaven
