NYC|Dinner with a Sunset View from the 101st Floor at Peak 🌇🍽️
For a sky-high restaurant with stunning views, I didn’t expect much from the food—but left pleasantly surprised! 🍞 Milk Bread – Soft, buttery, and fragrant—a wonderful start. 🐚 Atlantic Scallops – Seared golden with foamy sauce—looks fancy and tastes solid. 🍖 Beef Short Rib – Tender beef on toast with mushroom sauce—hearty and flavorful if eaten hot. 🥘 Creamy Farro – Parmesan and mushrooms make this grain dish rich and satisfying—creamy and delicious. 🦞 Maine Lobster – Generous portion, fresh and springy with tasty sides—a true “pretty dish.” 🥩 Painted Hills Filet Mignon – Juicy, perfectly cooked steak praised by everyone at the table. 🥚 The Egg – A famous dessert that’s as beautiful as it is tasty—mango, pineapple, kiwi, and yogurt mousse, topped with gold leaf. Even the “nest” is edible! 🍩 Noted a special occasion, and the restaurant gifted a (very sweet) American donut. Located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards, the elevator ride includes a cool animation of NYC’s development 🏙️. Window seats offer amazing views, but even indoor tables have great sightlines. Arrive around 6 PM in summer to watch the sky turn from light to dark as city lights sparkle ✨. Dinner includes access to The Edge observation deck (worth over $40). It’s windy up there—dress accordingly! Reservations are hard to get—book at least a month ahead! In a city of constant hellos and goodbyes, Peak feels like the perfect place for memorable moments—polished, scenic, and full of NYC magic 🍎. 📍 Peak #NYC #SkyDining #PeakNYC #HudsonYards #NYCViews #FineDining #NYCEats #SpecialOccasion #NYCRestaurants
