NYC|New Japanese Fusion Izakaya 🏮
🍴 Sake No Hana 📍 145 Bowery, New York, NY 10002 Recently checked out this stunning new Japanese-inspired izakaya in the Lower East Side, located beneath the trendy NYC Moxy Hotel. 🎌 Designed by the renowned Rockwell Group and operated by Tao Group Hospitality, the space is a breathtaking fusion of Western contemporary style and modern Japanese aesthetics. As you enter, you’re greeted by a dramatic staircase flanked by large, flowing kimono-style tapestries that cascade between two levels. 🧡 The bar area features curved orange banquettes against deep blue floral wallpapers, while the main dining room is wrapped in leather, wood paneling, and mirrored ceilings adorned with custom lighting inspired by traditional Japanese pottery. Delicate embroidered panels depicting cherry blossoms and birds line the walls, and lantern-like installations hang gracefully from the columns—every corner is Instagram-worthy! 📸 Now, onto the food—each dish was a standout! ✨ 🍣 A5 Wagyu Roll ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Silky A5 beef paired with caviar—an absolute umami explosion. 🍣 Uni Sushi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fresh, sweet, and melts in your mouth. 🍜 Wafu Carbonara ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A creamy black truffle udon that’s rich yet surprisingly light—perfectly balanced. 🦞 Maine Lobster ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Buttery lobster with a refreshing yuzu finish. 🍜 Inaniwa Udon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loaded with king crab, abalone, and roe—every slurp is pure delight. 🥩 Filet Mignon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So tender it practically dissolves on your tongue. I could’ve easily ordered another! 🍨 Black Sesame Ice Cream ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A small but powerful palate cleanser with rich, nutty flavor. 🍰 Okinawa Basque Cheesecake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommended by the staff—filled with purple sweet potato! Uniquely delicious and subtly sweet. 🍫 40-Layer Crepe Cake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Decadently sweet with a warm chocolate lava center—perfect for those with a serious sweet tooth. I’m already planning my next visit to try more of their creative menu! ❤️ #SakeNoHana #JapaneseIzakaya #NYCRestaurants #LowerEastSide #FusionDining #NYCFoodie #InteriorDesign #DateNightSpot #NYCEats #JapaneseCuisine #NewInNYC #FoodAndDesign
