NYC|This Uyghur Restaurant Became My Go-To for Xinjiang Food 🍖
I’d travel to Flushing just for their milk tea! 🧋 Milk Tea Rich and creamy with a layer of oil on top—so aromatic and comforting. Their yogurt is also thick and tangy. Under $4—unbeatable! 🥔 Big Plate Chicken Tender chicken thighs with soft, melt-in-your-mouth potatoes and hand-pulled noodles soaked in savory sauce 🤤. 🍞 Baked Lamb Buns Thin skin packed with flavorful minced lamb. The plain naan is also golden, fluffy, and satisfying—perfect for bread lovers. 🍖 Skewers Almost forearm-length! We tried lamb (juicy and tender) and chicken (a bit dry). Sprinkled with cumin, they’re fragrant and hearty—2–3 per person is plenty. 🐑 Cumin Lamb Moist and savory—great with rice. Could be crispier, but still delicious. 🥘 Braised Beef with Radish Tender beef with carrots and radish—even the carrots were tasty (and I rarely eat carrots!). 🍽️ Love the cultural details—patterned plates and decorative skewers. Just typing this makes my mouth water… This place is already so good—eating lamb, naan, and drinking milk tea feels like a feast 😇. Go with a group—portions are huge! One day I hope to visit Xinjiang and taste even more authentic flavors. 📍 Nurlan Uyghur Restaurant 43-39 Main St, Queens, NY 11355 #NYC #UyghurFood #XinjiangCuisine #FlushingEats #NYCFood #ComfortFood #BigPortions #FoodieFinds #NYCRestaurants #SkewerLovers
