A classic Cuban-style plate: tender, perfectly cooked steak (we went medium-rare) served with savory beans, rice, and sweet plantains. The steak itself was the star โ juicy and well-seasoned โ though the beans and plantains might be an acquired taste for some. ๐ฅ Paella Made with black rice and loaded with shrimp, squid, clams, and mussels in a fragrant sauce. I prefer firmer rice, but the flavors were rich and satisfying. ๐ฎ Desserts Flan โ Just like the emoji ๐, creamy and not too sweet. Tres Leches โ A moist sponge cake soaked in milky goodness, rich and comforting. ๐น Drinks Tried the Chan Chan (quite boozy) and Mojito Mocktail (on the tangy side).
