NYC's Sichuan Icon|New Midtown Location of Szechuan Mountain House 🌶️
Longtime New Yorkers likely know Szechuan Mountain House — I used to go with my Columbia classmates after class, and now they’ve opened a brand‑new Midtown spot! The vibe and flavors remain top‑tier. We started with the signature Hanging Pork Belly — thinly sliced pork drizzled with chili oil, incredibly appetizing.🤣 For mains, the Triple Crispy Sauté was a standout — spicy, crunchy, and seriously rice‑worthy, tasting just like the versions I had back in China. The Sizzling Rice with Fish Fillet was another hit — tender fish in a savory broth poured over crispy rice. We also tried the Beef & Porcini Mushroom Rice — even the rice packs Sichuan heat! The earthy mushrooms were fragrant and delicious. 👍🏻 Dessert was a delicate, milky pudding — light and soothing. The new space is spacious, decorated with traditional Chinese elegance, and full of atmosphere — it truly feels like a culinary trip back home. 📍 New Address: 353 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036 Whether you're a longtime fan or new to bold Sichuan cuisine, this Midtown addition delivers the same authentic, vibrant experience that made Szechuan Mountain House a classic. #NYCFood #SichuanCuisine #SzechuanMountainHouse #MidtownEats #SpicyFoodNYC #NYCRestaurants #ChineseFoodNYC #NYCEats #ComfortFood #FoodieNYC #ColumbiaEats #NYCLife #EatLikeALocal #IconicNYC
