NYC | Hidden Gem No.7 – The UES Locals Weren’t Wrong!
📍 Campagnola Hidden Gem Series No.7 – First on Recently recommended by two Upper East Side ladies who’ve dined here for decades—their go-to Italian spot. Had to try it myself! And wow—it did not disappoint. 🐙 Grilled Octopus Tender, fresh, simply seasoned—soft yet springy. Absolutely delicious. 🍝 Pasta Sampler Three pastas: Penne alla vodka, gnocchi with pesto, ravioli. The vodka sauce was our favorite—creamy, tomatoey, with a hint of wine. So good! 🦐 Scampi Alla Griglia Jumbo shrimp, perfectly grilled—juicy and flavorful. Simple ingredients, big taste. ✨ Fun moment: We ordered another pasta, but our waiter quietly said, “Chef A is cooking today—that one tends to be oily. I’d suggest something else.” Honest and thoughtful—they really care about the dining experience. Warm, lively atmosphere—full of UES regulars and families. Friendly staff, live music, and easy reservations (unlike some overhyped spots!). Can’t wait to try the veal chop next time. #NYCFood #UESeats #ItalianInNYC #HiddenGemNYC #FoodieFinds
