NYC | Slightly Too-Sweet Puffs & Disappointing Pho 🍜

A last-minute solo trip to NYC before heading home—mostly to visit The Met. Ended up tired of the city in half a day, so I grabbed a sweet treat and a bowl of pho. 🧁 Bibble & Sip Called “NYC’s best puff shop” by many. The shell is crispy and airy, filled to the brim with rich, silky Earl Grey custard cream. ⚠️ But the powdered sugar on top is very sweet, and the filling can feel heavy after half a puff. 📌 Note: Puffs come out fresh around 9:15 AM (shop opens at 8). 🍜 5ive Spice Tacos & Banh Mi Was craving a final authentic pho before leaving the US, but this broth was bland and oily—nothing like the clear, fragrant pho I love. The boneless short rib was tender, but overall the bowl felt more like simple beef noodle soup than real pho.
