NYC | The Hottest SHOGUN Omakase 🌟

🌸Lately, I’ve been seeing this omakase place all over the place, and guess what? One day after work, my foreign coworker actually recommended it to me! So, I booked a table right away and went to check it out. 🌟 We went for the Omakase Set A, which is $100 and includes 15 courses: 2 appetizers, 10 nigiri, 1 roll, 1 sea urchin hand roll, and 1 dessert. On top of that, we ordered a sweet shrimp sushi (the chef was so nice and threw in some extra sea urchin), and we also splurged on the $10 Wagyu tasting (totally worth it!! It comes with Wagyu foie gras, Wagyu caviar, and Wagyu sea urchin). In the end, we spent around $180 per person. 🍃 🌟 Overall, it was pretty good. The Wagyu tasting was definitely the highlight! The sushi was decent, but nothing extraordinary. There were several dishes at the beginning that used yuzu, so the flavors felt a bit repetitive. Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of their rice—it was a bit too loose. 🌟 The chefs were all Chinese, and they were really friendly! 🎢 I don’t think I’d come back here again. There’s nothing really bad to say about it, but it’s not super impressive either. If any of you have been here recently, let’s chat about your thoughts on this place! 🌊 #NYCDaily #NYC #NYCEats 🍔
