š NYC | Where Strangers' Hearts Speak
In the basement of the World Trade Center Oculus, I stumbled upon The Strangers Projectāa tiny exhibition space wallpapered with handwritten notes from people across the globe. šāļø Each scrap of paper holds an anonymous story: A childās first brave moment wearing a dress š An 80-year-oldās reflections on love and regret šµš Secret battles with depression, or joy after life-changing decisions š Fleeting New York momentsāsunset on 5th Ave, a subway strangerās smile š The handwriting varies, the tales diverge, but the emotions connect us all. Reading them, I felt like Iād grasped a strangerās hand through the page. š¤ I imagined the writersāordinary New Yorkers rushing to work or datesāpausing here to leave a piece of their soul. Some stories ache, some heal, but together they whisper: "Youāre not alone." šļø A small exhibit with colossal heart. Maybe weāre all just searching for a corner where our truths can breathe. š Oculus, WTC Basement (Free entry) #NYCLife #HiddenNYC #ArtHeals #HumanConnection #TheStrangersProject #MentalHealthMatters
