NYC | Winter Begins 🍂
Finally made it to this long-awaited Cantonese dessert shop. 🍮 Ginger Milk Pudding Its origin was an accident—milk spilled into ginger juice, creating a magical flavor that’s been loved ever since. You wait for the sand timer to flip once, and the result is incredibly smooth. The ginger is gently spicy without being harsh, perfectly complementing the creamy milk. The texture is between pudding and steamed egg—one spoonful instantly brings back memories of neighborhood dessert shops in Guangdong. A true comfort food 🥰. 🎃 Pumpkin Mochi Soup Rich and milky, with sweet, stretchy mochi that can pull halfway up your arm—soft, sweet, and so satisfying! 🥥 Durian Mango Coconut Jelly Cool, smooth, and generously portioned, bursting with tropical flavors. Even in 25°C November NYC weather, it feels just right 😌. Sweetness is fixed but not overpowering. For lighter options, I recommend: 🍐 Snow Pear with Peach Gum & Lotus Seeds 🍊 Papaya with Peach Gum & Snow Lotus Seeds Both are lightly sweetened, rich in collagen, and wonderfully warm—perfect for cozying up in winter. I especially love the round Asian pears—much sweeter and more fragrant than typical supermarket pears. Served in beautiful enamel bowls that feel like a scene from a historical drama ✨. This place totally captured my taste buds—please open in Manhattan soon! 📍 YuanYang Dessert #NYC #Dessert #CantoneseDesserts #NYCEats #WinterDesserts #ComfortFood #FoodieFinds #FlushingNYC
