NYC is a bagel lover’s paradise—I’ve tried quite a few well-known spots: Brooklyn Bagel, Pio Bagel, Liberty Bagel… Pick a Bagel feels a bit more under the radar, but I actually like their fillings. Plus, it’s near my office and open until 5:30 PM—handy for after-work cravings. 🍴 Pick a Bagel 📍 891 8th Ave, New York, NY 10019 Lately obsessed with tuna salad sandwiches, so I DIY’d two versions: 🥯 Whole Wheat Everything + Tuna Salad + Walnut Raisin Cream Cheese – Big walnut chunks, not too sweet—nut lovers will enjoy this. 🥯 Whole Wheat Everything + Tuna Salad + Veggie Tofu Cream Cheese – Fresh veggie bits (celery included) keep it light and refreshing. The tuna salad itself is tasty and well-seasoned. The bagel, though, wasn’t toasted enough (maybe because it was near closing?), and the whole wheat everything lacked that aromatic oomph. Price-wise, two bagels came to $12—a bit more than Brooklyn Bagel.
