NYC 🍞 Cardamom Bun Ranking: #3 Watch House 🥉

Watch House is a London-based café that expanded to NYC. The design feels… very un-NYC 🤣 I’d tried their coffee before and found it pricey and underwhelming (too acidic for my taste). But since I’m on a cardamom bun quest, I decided to give their bakery a shot. 🍴 Watch House 🥐 Cardamom Bun Looks—and tastes—more like a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon really dominates, with very little cardamom flavor. That said, the texture is great: slightly crisp outside, chewy and non-sticky inside. As a cinnamon bun, it’s good. As a cardamom bun, not so much. 🙅 🍫 Chocolate Croissant (friend’s order) – Beautifully shaped, not too sweet, tasty bite.
