NYC Bagel 🥯 | Trying the Viral Coffee Cream Cheese!

Every time I go to Smor for their cardamom buns, I pass by this popular bagel spot—always with a line of people waiting! I’ve known about their espresso cream cheese for a while and kept saying, “Next time I’ll try it,” but somehow always ended up at Smor instead. On Memorial Day, Smor had already sold out of their buns 😢 so I finally made my way to the bagel shop next door. 🍴 Tompkins Square Bagels (They have three locations: two in East Village, one near Union Square.) I ordered a cinnamon bagel with espresso cream cheese. The bagel itself was nicely sized, chewy, and had that classic NYC bagel texture 👍 But the espresso cream cheese was so rich and bold, it almost overpowered the cinnamon flavor. The cream cheese was generously spread—thick and indulgent. It tasted like sweet coffee candy, with a strong espresso kick. Not overly sweet, but definitely packed with caffeine… I was low-key worried I wouldn’t sleep that night! 😅 Overall, I enjoyed it! The bagels are solid, and I’m curious to try their sun-dried tomato cream cheese next time. Perfect for when you need a bagel + coffee in one bite! ☕️🥯 #NYCExploration #NYCFood #NYC #NYCLife #NYCStudent #NYCWeekend #BakeryLove #NYCBagels #BagelSpot #TompkinsSquareBagels #CoffeeCreamCheese #FoodieFinds #NYCEats #BreakfastGoals
