NYC Baking | Clinton Hill Has Its Own Famous Shop (2)š
This time I went early and found that they actually have several of the most fashionable pastry styles recently. ššø It was a pleasant surprise, but also a bit strange (is there such a thing as plagiarism among bakeries? Or are the combinations and styles all based on some rules?). The result after tasting is that the eating experience is more than satisfactory, but unfortunately, there are some minor flaws in each. Considering the cost-effectiveness, it can at least be considered a to-be-famous shop. š ššø That being said, I haven't tried the other popular shops mentioned above yet. Their actual quality may not be much higher, who knows? At least before I visit those places, I'd like to wholeheartedly recommend Otway first, to prove that us BK people deserve to eat well too. šā¤ļø š„ Savory Danish $5.5 I rarely eat Danish pastries because most shops do a poor job with them š. This one kind of changed my perception of the category. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (though the flakiness could still be improved). ššø What really took it to the next level was the filling: Parmesan, peas, and asparagus on a layer of horseradish mayo. #NYC š
