NYC Eats Day 1 🍽️
Traveling with my husband means one thing: eating nonstop. Day 1 = carb overload! 1️⃣ HEYTEA After waiting 40 minutes in the cold wind, sipping Longjing Mochi Milk Tea was pure bliss! ❄️🧋 2️⃣ Crab Bao Ordered the crab set: crab roe rice, crab soup rice, and crab roe xiao long bao. Not as good as back home, but still a satisfying taste of China abroad. 🦀 3️⃣ Tempura Matsui Michelin-starred tempura! 🍤 Highlights: scallop, snow crab, and eel—so crispy and delicious. (Sea snail and shirako were a pass for me 😅) Hubby said the tempura dipping sauce wasn’t as good as before, but overall still impressive! End note: NYC is FREEZING 🥶—had to buy a hat, scarf, and long johns.
