NYC Fine Dining | 2-Star Gabriel Kreuther 🎩✨

Celebrated our third wedding anniversary at Gabriel Kreuther—a two-Michelin-starred gem in Manhattan. Since my partner doesn’t eat seafood, picking a special occasion spot is always tricky. French cuisine to the rescue again! This restaurant came highly recommended for its sincere, skillfully prepared dishes—and it did not disappoint. We were thoroughly impressed. Each course felt like a surprise—creative, elegant, and thoughtfully crafted. It reminded me of my very first Michelin experience: exciting and memorable. ❤️ Favorites of the Night: Foie Gras – Rich, silky, and perfectly balanced Duck Breast – Tender, flavorful, with a beautiful sear Assorted Amuse-Bouches – A delightful start full of texture and flavor ⚠️ Minor Letdowns: A shrimp/fish appetizer had a slight fishy taste 🦐 The lamb carried a noticeable gaminess 🐑 Dessert was a bit too generous and overly sweet—we ended the night on a sugar overload 🍰 That said, it was a wonderful and satisfying experience overall. The ambiance was refined yet relaxed, and the service was attentive without being stuffy. I’ve been recommending Gabriel Kreuther to friends ever since! If you’re looking for a special night out with classic technique and a warm touch, this is the place. Have you been?
