NYC Food Tour: A World of Flavors 🌍🍴
You’d be surprised how many international cuisines I’ve tried in NYC — and lived to write about them! 😂 🌮 Taqueria Ramirez Some call it the best taco in NYC — but I wasn’t fully convinced. The tripe was unique, but the pastor and suadero were way too salty. Honestly, Taqueria Santa Fe hits better. Verdict: Not worth a special trip. 🇹🇭 Thai Gems Tried a few 4.5+ Google-rated spots like SriPraPhai, KhanTong Thai Kitchen, and Khao Nom — no regrets! Some even outshined pricier Manhattan options like SaiTong Thai. Flavorful, authentic, and satisfying! 🇧🇷 Fogo de Chão A chain Brazilian steakhouse (~$70+ for all-you-can-eat). Yes, it’s salty and pricey, but when I’m craving iron-rich protein, I happily return. Faves: lamb chops, top sirloin, and that honey-drizzled cheese! 🇻🇳 Nam Son A classic Vietnamese spot near Chinatown. Their phở is light, sweet, and comforting — perfect for the soul and the wallet. Always a win! 🥩 Gallaghers Steakhouse Tried their ~$35 lunch set… and left underwhelmed. The steak was dry, and the sides were forgettable. For classic American steak, Peter Luger is worth the extra $$$. 🍜 H K Wonton Garden A no-frills Chinatown gem! Brisket or beef organ noodles for under $10 — so much meat, so much joy 😭 My go-to for a quick, hearty meal. Just remember: they include tips already! NYC’s food scene never fails to surprise — from hidden gems to hyped spots, there’s always a story behind every bite. #NYCEats #GlobalFlavors #FoodReview #NYCFoodGuide #EatTheWorld
