NYC Hotel Rant: Who Actually Recommends The Bowery? šŸŒ†

Let’s be real—Manhattan doesn’t really have hotels you’d want to stay in every single day. I’m tired of the hotel scene here, especially these celebrity-owned spots like The Bowery. First time I heard about it was because of some celeb gossip 🦶, and honestly… it’s overhyped. I usually stay uptown, and luxury picks like Baccarat are practically my second home. I’ve been there like 20 times this month alone šŸ˜…. Even after all these years, it’s still the shiniest, most modern, and best-maintained hotel in NYC. Think electric curtains, floor-to-ceiling windows, symphonic sound systems, and a chic rectangular tub—not some awkward round one. They even wrap the carpets in film every night before cleaning the wood floors. Now that’s class. Then there’s The Mark—beautiful but dated. Rooms feel old, layouts are awkward, and only the common areas look fresh. Their bar staff? Sweet as family. But concierge and front desk? Useless šŸ™„. The Carlyle? Basic rooms are… primitive. Suites are better, but you gotta get one with good light and no dark corners. Their jazz bar? I still don’t get the hype. $55 seat fee is ā€œcheapā€ compared to random Noho spots charging $45, but still—meh. I’ve tried many other top suites but never posted ’cause my photos were tragic šŸ˜‚. Most luxury standard rooms are so small I’d lose my mind. Even the 100+ sqm Mark Madison Suite left me complaining. Baccarat’s Prestige Suite is decent—not mind-blowing, but my standards are just too high now. You really need to book at least a mid-tier suite to feel okay. Some other gems: The Knickerbocker’s Corner Suite The Parrish Suite (deleted my pics… too ugly lol) The Pierre (uses Floris toiletries—takes me back to the UK 🄹) Park Lane’ 46th floor—direct Central Park views, guest-only access + breakfast buffet! And yeah, sometimes I just walk in and book on the spot… can’t even remember half those hotels. Maybe I should dig through my camera roll šŸ“ø. #NYCHotels #LuxuryStay #HotelReview #ManhattanLife #BaccaratNYC #NYCRant
