NYC is lucky to have you! 🥹
After my last post about Northeastern skewers, I got so many DMs asking for more recommendations. So here it is — the Northeastern spot I visit countless times a year! 🥇 🔥 Lamb skewers are a must! We start with at least 20 each time. They’re charcoal-grilled right outside, with perfect fatty-to-lean ratio. Wrap them in their house-made warm flatbread with Zibo-style spices, chili sauce, and scallions — you'll thank me later! We also love the chicken gizzards, wings, fish tofu, dried tofu… The grilled eggplant with garlic-chili sauce is delicious 🍆. And you can’t miss the stir-fried noodles — savory, oily, just like the ones I grew up eating. 🍅 Sweet & Sour Pork — even as someone who avoids fried food, I can’t resist this. Crispy, tangy, with a hint of tomato, and that satisfying crunch with every bite. Worth every calorie! We also had the lamb offal soup (rich and comforting) and in winter their lamb hotpot is a cozy delight. The only downside: it’s a bit far from the subway. Better if you drive or go with friends! Hope you get to try it soon — you won’t regret it! #FlushingFood #NortheasternCuisine #NYCEats #LambSkewers #ChineseBBQ #ComfortFood #NYCFoodie #HiddenGem #MustTry #FoodHeaven #EatLikeALocal
